Sometimes, it can really be acceptable to break some laws. I am not going to be some old strict lady that theft is always wrong no matter what you do. That is not right. As we all know, Hurricane Katrina was probably one of the worst hurricane of the 2000 decade. The destruction spanned across the coast and in more inland for miles and across states. There was a lot of flooding and people were trapped and put into dire circumstances. You often saw the tv cameras in helicopters and there were disturbing images of people on their rooftops because that was the safest driest place that was in their reach. These people did not have food and did not have clean water. They would get into their man made boats and find like a grocery store for example that had not yet been terribly flooded and steal food and clean water. That it what they needed for their survival. With out those essentials and the hope of being saved going down the drain, these people would most likely die. And some did. But some broke the law to get what they needed to fight for their life. How would that be considered wrong. If I had the choice between life and breaking the law, I would definitely break the law if it let me live just for a single day longer. But, there are other circumstances which are similar, but not considered right at the same time. Like when the Hurricane has not hit land yet, everyone gets in a panic. Either they are getting ready to kick it into gear out of town, or stock up to ride it out. This sort of becomes a frenzy and this is when looting happens. Looting is very bad and wrong in my opinion because they can buy the things, its not like they are dying right then and there. It is not as much of a dire situation.
